Content and reporting policy

We want everything happening in the city, but only what is real and relevant at the top. These rules apply to events, texts, images and videos published on OHype.

1. What is allowed

Real events open to the public (free or paid), with verifiable date, venue and source: concerts, parties, stand-up, theatre, sports, student, cultural, public and neighbourhood events.

2. What is not allowed

Fake events, deliberate duplicates or repeated listings to gain visibility (spam); misleading information about price, line-up or venue; illegal, discriminatory, violent or hateful content; explicit sexual content; sale of illegal products or services; copyright or image-right infringement; events that put people at risk; collecting personal data through a listing.

Events for over-18s must show their age rating.

3. How we moderate

Organizer listings go into a moderation queue before they appear. New accounts have a posting limit. We merge duplicates and rank results by relevance, not by who posts the most.

Videos are only added through official embeds (YouTube, TikTok), always linking to the source. We do not scrape social networks.

4. How to report

Write to contato@ohype.com.br with the event link and the reason. A report button on each event page is coming soon. We review reports within 5 business days, and sooner when people may be at risk.

Copyright holders can request removal by identifying the work and proof of ownership.

5. Consequences and appeals

Content that breaks the rules may be removed, and repeat offenders may be suspended. The publisher is notified and may appeal once, by the same email, with new information.
